US Metal Vol.3

Because of the success of »US Metal Vol.1« and »US Metal Vol.2« now the completly new, third part of the enzyclopaedia about the history of the american Heavy Metal from the beginning to the end of the eighties has been published.

In Fact, the treasury of bands of the US Heavy Metal-period of the eighties is inexhaustible! Best prove is the fact, that the present book is the third volume of the I.P. enzyclopaedia-set. Like the first two volumes »US Metal Vol.3« is also composed of as a mixture of topsellers of the genre, misunderstood musical men of genius and very obscure privat-pressings. The series includes bands like EXCITER, DARK ANGEL or POSSESSED over HAWAII, HAVE MERCY and TENSION to BARNABAS, SLAUTER XSTROYERS or TYRANT'S REIGN (to mention only a few acts which are treated on 208 pages). Like always, the reference book contains complete discographies (vinyl and Cd), diverse unpublished photo-material and numerous exclusive-interviews (among others with Jon Zazula from the US-cultlabel Megaforce Records).

Next the Iron Pages-team other scene-specialists, among others Stefan Glas (Underground Empire), Arno Hofmann (That's Metal) and Jens Häfner (Rare Records Fanzine) were responsible for the making of the book.
