Neil Daniels

In autumn 2008, Neil Daniels will publish his third book »Dawn Of the Metal Gods: My Life in Judas Priest & Heavy Metal«, co-written with Judas Priest founder Al Atkins, via Iron Pages Publishing.

Neil Daniels is a freelance journalist and published author based in the North West of England. In 2004, he obtained a B.A. Honours degree in Film Studies from Middlesex University in North London.

Neil has a deep passion for popular culture and has written extensively about music, cinema, books and graphic novels for several years. Daniels has contributed articles about classic rock and heavy metal to a wide range of professional online magazines and webzines including; BBC Manchester Online, Unbarred, Drowned In Sound, Carling Live and musicOMH.

He currently writes for Powerplay, Fireworks and the revered online publication Get Ready To Rock and occasionally contributes to Rock Sound and Record Collector. Neil has previously contributed to the popular punk rock magazine Big Cheese.

Neil has written two other books: »The Story Of Judas Priest: Defenders Of The Faith« (2007) and »Robert Plant: Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page & The Solo Years« (2008).
